SHOULD ATTEND
This interactive workshop is intended for health care
professionals who work in diabetes care or education who would
benefit from a basic workshop on how to complete a grant
application, or who have had limited experience in research
development and the process of applying for funding for
research. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas
for a grant application for this workshop.
PURPOSE
AND OBJECTIVES
- To review the basics of what is considered “research” in
diabetes care.
- To review the requirements of granting agencies when applying
for funding.
- To explore, using case examples, how to write a grant
application that will be successful
in the application
process.

be received by Friday, May 9, 2008.
Registration is limited to 20 people and will be accepted on a
first come, first served basis.
