The following nominee is the 2009 award recipient:

Recipient	Profession and Hospital Affiliation	Award
Carolyn Lawton, RN (EC), MScN, ACNP, CDE	Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto	$1,000

The award will be presented to Ms. Lawton at the Toronto Diabetes Association Annual Meeting which will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Mount Sinai Hospital Auditorium, Toronto.
